Each warning will be given sequentially, with a one-day interval between letters. Following this, the vendors will be given a one-week deadline to stop all selling activities in the prohibited area.
“We are targeting that within one week, there will be no more buying and selling activities on the road body or the sidewalk. Relevant Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) such as the Trade Office, Revenue Office, Transportation Office, and the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) will directly enforce this regulation,” said Sehmi.
In addition to the City Government, the police have also expressed full support for the enforcement effort. The Head of the Ratu Samban Police Precinct, AKP Dendi Putra, affirmed that his unit is ready to assist the local government in maintaining public order and ensuring the smooth implementation of the regulation.
