BENGKULUTERKINI.ID – The Bengkulu Provincial Government (Pemprov) has begun implementing a digital system for managing regional assets, specifically official vehicles. This move was marked by the dissemination and installation of QR Codes on official vehicles within the Bengkulu Provincial Government environment, carried out after the morning assembly at the Governor’s Office Field on Monday, November 3, 2025.
The activity was directly led by the Caretaker Regional Secretary of Bengkulu Province, Herwan Antoni. In his directive, Herwan explained that the use of QR Codes is a tangible step towards asset governance that is more transparent, accurate, and easily monitored.
“Through this QR Code system, every official vehicle will have a digital identity that contains important information such as ownership data, vehicle condition, and usage history. This is part of our effort to strengthen the accountability of regional asset management,” Herwan stated.
Herwan added that the implementation of this digitalization system is also part of the Bengkulu Provincial Government’s strategy to accelerate the transformation towards a digital-based government.
“We want all regional assets to be properly recorded and openly accessible. The public or authorized parties can simply scan the QR Code with a mobile phone to know the status of the official vehicle,” he added.
